Country Gospel Music Association Award Recipients

Opal and I have been singing gospel music in church and on our shows across America since we were married over 35 years ago. Between 1997 - 1999, we went through a marital crisis that nearly destroyed our marriage. Since that time, God has given us many opportunities to openly share His goodness and restoration power, thus bringing hope and encouragement to His people. Our number one desire in life is to honor Him in ALL that we do. He has placed us in a very unique type of work/ministry in the entertainment industry, and we are excited that He has blessed us with this opportunity, in addition to our ministry in churches and other venues throughout the states. We are the proud recipients of the 2007 CGMA  Duo of the Year award and are current nominees for the 2007 International Duo of the Year award. Having grown up in the south with a deep-rooted love for traditional country southern style gospel music, Opal continues to do what she is gifted to do best, (Gaither style gospel music). She is often referred to as Little Vestal as in Vestal Goodman. I sing harmony and play several different instruments featuring the steel guitar during our concerts. We love to share the great things God has done in our lives, what He is presently doing, or just have a good time in music and fellowship. It is an honor for us to be an ambassador for the King of Kings, our Lord Jesus, and now the King of the Cowboys, The Roy Rogers Dale Evans Happy Trails Theater in Branson, MO They were a couple who honored God, Family and Country, and we too, are sharing those same values across America now. If you feel that our ministry could bless your people by sharing in concert, we would be honored to get to know you and share a special service or event with you. In His service,

Ron & Opal Erickson
